CORRUGATED PIPE GENERAL FEATURES
Sewage pipes are a product produced from Polypropylene and Polyethylene raw materials in the Polyolefin group. Extruded corrugated pipe produced up to Ø1000 mm diameter can be produced from polyethylene and polypropylene raw material, while spiral corrugated pipes are produced from polyethylene. In the same effectiveness, ring strength value is more preferred because it is higher in polypropylene. With the spiral method, pipes of Ø300 mm diameter and above are produced.
Injection fittings are produced for joining extruded corrugated pipes. Gaskets are placed in the duct on the outer surface of the pipe and put into fitting. Spiral corrugated pipes can be combined with extruder welding, gasket method as well as electrofusion method. This joining method makes the pipes normally used under 0.5 bar pressure usable even at 4 bars.
In this way, the pipes continue to operate without leaking and being damaged in the joints at the pressure increases encountered in the precipitation that turns into floods.
Corrugated pipes are sold with a 50-year lifetime warranty, as they are not affected by corrosion, high abrasion and chemical resistance. They carry out their activities without being affected by earthquakes such as earthquakes thanks to their flexible structures.
Since sealing is provided throughout the life of the pipe, contamination of groundwater and soil is prevented. There is no question of tree roots entering the pipe and closing them. Due to its light weight, small diameter pipes can be laid without the need for a work machine.

Corrugated pipes are very light and also resistant to impacts. There is no waste during transportation and storage. Since it is light, it can be easily placed and stocked or transported.

Corrugated pipes are combined with muffle seals or sleeve seals. Head tying can be done easily in any construction site environment. Since it is light in all kinds of horizontal-vertical transport at the construction site, the need for construction equipment is minimal.

As the corrugated pipe is light, heavy equipment is not needed during laying. Thanks to the easy joining methods, the laying speed is higher than other pipe materials. It is a pipe material used especially in urban construction sites and in regions where the construction season is short.

In systems where muff and gasket jointing method is applied, sealing up to 0.5 bar pressure is provided. In this way, sewage waste does not spread to groundwater and thus our environment is protected. In addition, in places with high ground water, the entrance to the sewage system from outside is prevented. This prevents the line from overfilling and overflowing.
Ease of repair and maintenance
The corrugated pipe's inner surface is produced in light color, and it can be controlled by a camera into the sewer network when desired.
Long life
The design life of corrugated pipes is minimum 50 years. For this reason, operation and maintenance cost is minimum.
Smooth flow surface
Corrugated pipes are very low compared to other pipe materials, so they can be used in the sewage system to choose a low diameter by using diameter optimization. Thus, the project cost of laying on the construction site can be reduced compared to the concrete pipe. In addition, the smooth surface prevents the solid particles in the system from sticking to the inner surface of the pipe and the cross sectional contraction that may occur over time is prevented.
Flexible
